When someone has died, you do not need a long list of choices. You need to know what to do next.
Here is how ordering funeral flowers in Calgary works, so you can decide what needs deciding and leave the rest to me. The short version: choose a piece, order online at least a day ahead, and tell me the date and place of the service. I make the flowers by hand and deliver them to the service.
First, choose the piece
Think about where the flowers will go. That tells you which piece you need.
Casket spray: a full spray that rests on top of the casket. 3 ft is $325 and 4 ft is $425.
Funeral heart: a heart-shaped piece for the front of the room with the family, or for the gravesite. From $325, and a larger 18 to 20 inch heart is $395.
Urn flowers: a garden-style piece, about 2 feet high, that goes around the urn with the urn in the centre. $225.
Then choose a colour story, or tell me your own colours and I will say which ones I can get:
Wild Rose: blush, soft pink and white
Foothills Dusk: white with blush-peach and a touch of lavender
Wolf Willow: white with silver-green leaves
Saskatoon: white, lavender and deep plum
Fireweed: pinks, deep red, purple and white

When to order and how to pay
Order at least 24 hours before the service. That gives me time to make your piece and have it there at least two hours before the service starts.
You pay in full online at checkout, and I start your piece once payment goes through. Right after you order, I contact you however you prefer (text, email or a call) to confirm your colours and timing. I usually reply right away, and at most within a couple of hours.
If the service is in under 24 hours, call or text me at 825-583-8212 before you order. I will tell you right away whether I can do it. If I cannot make it in time, I will contact you right away and refund you in full.
Delivery or pickup
Calgary delivery: $20, added to your total at checkout. I deliver to the service.
Pickup: free, in NW Calgary.
Airdrie delivery: $30. Airdrie deliveries run on Tuesdays and Fridays and need at least 24 hours notice, so text me first to confirm the day.
Sending flowers from out of town? You can order from anywhere and pay online. I will deliver them to the service in Calgary for you.
What to have ready when you order
A few lines is plenty. You do not need to know exactly what you want. I only need:
The date, time and place of the service
Which piece you would like, or "not sure yet"
Colours your family likes, or colours to avoid
How you would like me to reach you
When you are ready
