Hi, I'm Karri-Lynn.

I figured this out with my heart before I figured it out in my hands. I've always loved working small, with boutonnieres and corsages instead of big bouquets. It turns out that isn't new. I've been beading since I was young, taught by my aunt, and almost all Indigenous beadwork, especially work made by women, takes its shapes from flowers.

My grandmother's garden is part of the same thread. We didn't have much, but she always had beautiful flowers. Beauty made from very little, and made to carry far more than its size.

Working with flowers is also healing for me. And a wearable piece does something a bouquet can't: it stays with you. A bride never has to set it down. Every piece I make is meant to become part of the person and part of their day.
